Fall Protection

Safety devices for fall prevention can keep workers at heights from falling or lessen the chance that they will get hurt if they do. D-rings on body belts and fall harnesses attach to carabiners to offer personal protection. Lanyards and self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) join a harness to an anchor point to stop or prevent a fall. Anchorage connectors serve as a tie-off point for lanyards or SRLs by fastening to a structural surface. Workers who have fallen or become debilitated are raised and lowered using fall rescue and descending equipment. Workers are able to roam about thanks to horizontal lifelines that fasten to two anchor points. To stop workers from approaching a leading edge or fall hazard, physical constructions are equipped with guardrails, gates, and warning lines.
